Welcome to Pinewood Combined Probus Club members and visitors
Summer has come and gone, but we still have warm weather where we can enjoy the outdoors.
Congratulations to the new committee elected at our Annual General Meeting on 12th March.
On the 12th March the World Health Organisation declared that the spread of the COVD-19 virus is a pandemic.
To protect our members from the Covid19 Virus, the Committee has been forced to take the difficult and unprecedented step of CANCELLING all activities, effective immediately, until 30th June, when the situation will be reviewed. So there will be no Monthly Meetings or other activities until after 30th June. We are in the vulnerable demographic for this virus due to our age, so we urge you all to follow the current advice about keeping a social distance from others, avoiding crowds, and washing hands thoroughly and often.
More detailed current advice from the Australian Government Department of Health is available here.
Keep your eye on the Club Calendar for information about activities which MAY be restarted after 30th June.

A woman, cranky because her husband was late
coming home again decided to leave a note saying,
"I've had enough and left you, don't bother coming
after me" and hid under the bed to see his reaction.
After a short while the husband comes home and
she could hear him in the kitchen before he comes
into the bedroom; she could see him walking towards
the dressing table and pick up the note.
After a few minutes he wrote something on it before
picking up the phone and calling someone; - "she's
finally gone...yeah I know, about bloody time, I'm
coming to pick you up, put on the sexy french shift,
I love you".
He hung up, grabbed his keys and left.
She heard the car drive off as she came out from
under the bed, seething with rage and with
tears in her eyes
she grabbed the note to see what he wrote;
"I can see your feet. Stop being stupid, we're outta
bread, put the kettle on, back in 5 minutes”
