Book Club
The Book Club meets every 3rd Tuesday at 2:00pm. Each member is given the same book to read which will be returned after open discussion and a new book issued to each person for the next month. The books will be provided by the Wheelers Hill Library at no cost. The meetings will take place at the Wheelers Hill Library in a private room. Maximum members allowed is 10. Prior to the meetings members will gather in the Library Cafe for a cuppa and a chat.

Card Club
For all card playing enthusiasts, we have a card club each month for members to get together and play '500'.
Our card club is the first Thursday each month and is held at Pat's home, at 1:30 PM. Come and enjoy a game of 500 with other keen card players and enjoy an afternoon of skill, fun and interaction with other like minded members.
This activity is also open to any members who want to learn to play the 500 card game. Afterwards a cup of tea or coffee and perhaps a slice of cake will be provided.

Coffee
We have a morning coffee each month for members to get together and chat.
Our coffee morning is the first Tuesday each month and is currently at the Cafe Verdi in Brandon Park Shopping Centre. Come and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and perhaps a slice of cake with us at Cafe Verdi. No need to book in, just turn up.
The cafe is located on the ground floor near the women's fashion stores - Katies, Sussan, Noni B, Susan Grae and others - and a long table has been booked in the name of the Organiser for Pinewood Probus. Flat white coffees, Capuccinos and Lattes are reasonably priced at $3.20 and there are a number of other coffees, teas, soft drinks, yummy cakes and snacks available too. Simply order and pay on arrival, and they will deliver your order to our table when it’s ready.
Good Coffee, Good Company and no need to book in - just come.

Brunch, Lunch, Dinner and Fine Dining
We love to eat out at Pinewood Combined Probus Club. You can choose from Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner at various restaurants, and Fine Dining. Also Pizza nights, Picnics in the Park, and the monthly Brunch. Something for all budgets and tastes.
We regularly have lunch after our Monthly meeting on the second Thursday of each month. The venue is changed every three or four months and currently we are enjoying the food and the views from the Waverley RSL at 12:30 after the meeting.
Other lunches include Christmas in July at the Clarion Hotel, High Tea Lunch or lunch as part of a day trip. See the Calendar for contact details
Fine Dining is organised Bi monthly at a different restaurant each time with an emphasis on fine food and wine.
Lets Dine Out eating options are at various restaurants featuring cuisine from countries such as Persian or Sri Lankan and Asian. Again these are organised on alternate months.

Happy Hour

Each month one of our members hosts Happy Hour from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM (or later). Members bring their own drinks, glasses, nibbles or perhaps something more substantial to share with the other members.
The host merely provides the venue for happy hour, where we normally have anything from twenty to thirty or more members attending.
